day 1
we i decided that we should celebrate the new year and of course, our 4th wedding anniversary away from home and after much contemplation, decided on melaka since we’ve not been there for years now. and i was glad we chose melaka because the drive to and fro was smooth i.e. no jam at all so we managed to reach melaka under 2 hours. we had wantan noodles and ice kacang for lunch at jonkers street then, headed back to the hotel for LF’s afternoon nap. we stayed at baba’s house at jln tun tan cheng lock. by the time he got up at 6pm, it was dinner time. we had nasi lemak, assam laksa and ice kacang for dinner. then, we roamed the streets of melaka with LF in his stroller. after a while, we decided to take a drive around town but regretted it once we hit the streets. it was so jam! we went back to the hotel at about 11+ pm for LF to sleep. gary went out himself for the countdown.
day 2
today was a slow and easy day. we had the famous chicken ball rice at jonkers street and then went to take the boat taxi and eye on malaysia. both of which LF didn’t like. perhaps, because it was hot. in the evening, it was back to jonkers street but we had fine dining at a restaurant nearby to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. however, LF had a mind of his own and gave us a chaotic dinner. sigh….
day 3
we had the buffet breakfast in the hotel and decided to roam jonkers street for last minute gifts. left melaka at 11am and went back to ampang for lunch.
